Review by hotel critic
Upon stepping into La Casona, I couldn't help but admire the grandeur of the historical building that housed this lovely hotel in the heart of Roma Norte, Mexico City. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, offering a cozy sitting area where I could unwind after a day of exploring. The parquet floors added a touch of elegance, and the free Wi-Fi was greatly appreciated as a freelance writer always on the go.In terms of amenities, the 24-hour reception was a lifesaver, ensuring assistance was always at hand. The business center provided a quiet space for work, while the fitness center allowed me to keep up with my yoga practice. The on-site restaurant and bar impressed with a diverse menu and attentive service. However, the paid parking felt like an unnecessary additional cost. While La Casona offers a luxurious experience with its charming ambiance and top-notch service, the overall value proposition might lean towards the higher end. If you're willing to splurge for a touch of sophistication in a prime location, this historic gem won't disappoint.
